Four problems, and what we did about them
Real projects, described the way they actually happened — including the part where the client came to us after something had already gone wrong.
Automated database backup
After a ransomware attack, a client asked us to set up reliable backup for their 1C databases. The previous arrangement was manual copies onto a computer on the local network, looked after by a part-time acquaintance. When the server was encrypted, several years of data were lost for good and the accounts team spent months re-entering it from paper. We built the system that should have been there — and the monitoring that watches it around the clock.
Moving all staff to the cloud
A customer came to us with the question of how to give a large number of remote employees access to a single server and to the software. We virtualised the working environment so that each employee logs in and finds their own desktop — with the applications, the data and the access rights that belong to them — from whatever machine they happen to be using.
CCTV in the company office
ITSG specialists built the system on HIKVISION equipment: IP cameras for outdoor and indoor surveillance plus recorders. The cameras were positioned to cover the important areas around the building and inside. PoE power made it possible to build the system with minimal cable trunking and keep it out of sight. Several monitoring stations were set up for key staff, with separate access from anywhere in the world over a secure connection for the director.
Staff time and attendance
Another project implementing a time and attendance system along with access control. After a detailed study of the client’s needs, our staff concluded that the best solution would be a system based on ZKTeco equipment. The equipment fitted the interior of the office, and the result is a record of hours that feeds the accounting software directly.
Your case probably starts the same way
Something works badly, or stopped working, and nobody is quite sure why. That is a normal place to begin — tell us about it.
